Hi loves,

Hope you had a wonderful Easter with your family. 

I am excited for tomorrow though. We are heading to Palm Springs for 2 days. We are celebrating our First Wedding Anniversary. 

Yeah, I capitalized it because I am still new at this, and sometimes shocked with the thought of being married - in a good way in case you were wondering. ;)

There's something else I've been wanting to write about. 

My friends are often telling me how convenient and beautiful my life seems in California, 

when actually our family is dealing with cancer, stroke, alzheimer's and addiction problems.

I am not going to elaborate on family members and want to keep some privacy, but I will tell you that living in California doesn't make your life easier or more comfortable.

There's everyday life struggles just like anywhere else. 

Just because I tend to post beautiful and positive things, doesn't mean we aren't going through struggles.
I always believe that the best days are ahead of us and the quote " You never know what people are going through and sometimes the people with the biggest smiles are struggling the most, so be kind" is not appreciated enough.

It is more convenient to cry under a palm tree though, lol.
